General Terms and Conditions
The Dutch Civil Code prescribes the things that may and may not be covered by a trader’s General Terms and Conditions.
A wide variety of topics can lawfully be addressed, including the limitation of liability, how an instruction is placed, payment terms and the competence of judicial bodies.
In light of the Civil Code’s provisions, businesses are often well advised to have bespoke General Terms and Conditions drawn up or reviewed by Moree Gelderblom Lawyers.
